Techsideline.com wrote a short, but poignant article about Virginia Tech’s 2008 basketball recruit Victor Davila. Apparently, he has added another inch and 10 pounds to his frame, which cannot come soon enough for the Hokies, who lack size in the paint. Jeff Allen did a solid job for Tech in his freshman season, but he was too often in foul trouble and when he’s out of the game, teams immediately attack the Hokies inside. Davila is now 6-9, 240 pounds and after watching his YouTube highlights, Tech fans should be excited about his arrival. He will definitely see some playing time next year.
